J’ai la pêche!

Ready to learn about the French expression avoir la pêche? Avoir la pêche – literally “to have the peach” – means “to feel great”, “to be in top form”. The origin of this expression is not very well known. Does it come from the Chinese culture, in which peaches are symbols of youth and immortality? Or from the boxing world, where a boxer who “has the peach” has a lot of strength? Anyway, Aujourd’hui, j’ai la pêche! Today I feel great!
