“I have a sweet tooth”. How can this expression be translated into French? In France there is no real equivalent. But it Switzerland, we would say Je suis un bec à bonbons. It is fairly common to use it. Un bec is a beak, bonbons are candies, un bec à bonbons is literally “a candies’ beak”. And it makes sense, if you have a sweet tooth, you will eat lots of candies, right?
